This article describes how to create a candidate profile to participate in the Indiana Educator Talent Marketplace.

Note: At present, this feature is only available to candidates seeking jobs in the state of Indiana.

Overview

We are excited to announce the launch of the official IN Educator Talent Marketplace! With this new feature, current and emerging educators across IN will be able to create talent profiles to match with schools that meet their job search criteria.

Gaining access

To gain access to the Talent Marketplace as a candidate, please complete the following steps:

    • We suggest bookmarking this site so you can search for jobs directly. Also, feel free to sign up for job alerts!

  • Select “Candidate Log in” on the top right side

  • Select “Sign up” to create your account (or sign in if you already have a Nimble account)

  • Once you have signed in, complete your profile by clicking your name in the top-right corner and clicking “profile”:

    • First, be sure to check “Open to work” at the top - this makes your profile visible to recruiters within early childhood and K-12 organizations across the state

    • Then, enter in your location preferences. For example, you can decide to work within 10 miles of your home address or zip code. In addition, select Indiana from the State Preferences drop down. Note that you have the option to hide your profile from any districts, including your current employer

    • Continue completing your profile, filling in the required information. When you have completed the first page, press “Save & Next Step” to proceed.

    • If you’re creating an account for the first time, you’ll want to fill out your basic information on page 2 as well as add a resume; or, if you already have an account, please confirm that the information is correct. As before, click “Save & Next Step” to continue to the third page.

    • Finally, add your work experience, education, and other information. Be sure to click the “Save Entry” button after each entry; after doing so, you should see the added information appended to your application.

    • Once you get to the credentials section, if you are an educator or prospective educator, you’ll want to select “State credential” and enter your IN credentials and SPN number, even if they are still pending. You can look up your IN SPN number here.

    • When you are finished, click “Save & Complete” to finalize your profile.

Once your profile has been established, it will appear in the Talent Marketplace if you have marked yourself as open to work. Your information will only be shown to employers that match your location and state preferences. Employers will reach out to candidates whose experience matches the role they are hiring for.

You can also apply to any jobs across the state using this job board. Nimble saves the information from your profile, so you can more quickly apply to new jobs.
