Nine Ad Manager also allows you to track events on your website from users that have been exposed or clicked on your Ads, to set this up you will need to be able to add tracking code to your website.
Once your campaign is set up, click on your name in the top-right corner then profile. Then click on Pixel Tracking tab and for your first time you'll need to generate your pixel code (For Agencies you have to generate a new code per client account) Copy and paste the codes in step 1 and 2 to your website or GTM.
Understanding the Product ID
The product_id used in Nine Ad Manager pixel tracking is a unique identifier generated by the Nine Ad Manager platform for each client account. Only the main account holder should generate the codes any sub account holder shouldn't generate their own code this will not accurately track back to the campaigns set up via the main account.
Add pixel code to your site
You will need to copy and add the pixel code in the <head> of the page as high as possible for more details you can find a step by step here. Ensure that the product_id for your account is inserted into the pixel code before implementing it on your website. The product_id is critical for proper tracking operation.
Create Events
Decide what events you want to track from Page Views, Sign ups. Video Views, Add to Cart, Purchase, Brochure Download, Form completion.
Then copy that code and place each even code after the pixel code.
Then once implemented please check the Event Statuses to check for correct implementation.
Event Tracking
A tracking event is if you have a click tracker URL from an ad server that you want to add to your campaign.
We would suggest either using UTM's in the destination URL field or setting up the tracking pixel to track results within the campaign.
