Information about recent platform changes - Clicks, Click through Rate, Creative Studio Layout

Updated over a year ago

We have made some changes recently to the platform which include the following:

  • Clicks and CTR (Click-Through-Rate)

  • Creative AI studio layout

  • Completions and VCR (Video-Completion-Rate)

Clicks and (CTR) Click-Through-Rate

This metric has been removed from the dashboard because the amount of clicks your campaign generates could be influenced depending on which devices you have selected in your campaign.

Ads that appear on connected TVs (CTV) are not clickable. More than 75% of 9Now viewing occurs on CTV, therefore it is expected to have a low number of clicks.

You are still able to access the metric, to see the amount of clicks your campaign receives you can download a campaign report or you can set up a Pixel tag for accurate tracking.

Follow the below instructions to download a report.

  1. Click Reports on the left side of the platform

  2. Click "New Report" in the top right

  3. Select "Campaigns"

  4. Name the report

  5. (Agency only) Select companies

  6. Choose either one-time report or scheduled report

  7. Select the "Time Period"

  8. Choose your export option

Once you have this report you can see an overview of your campaign.

Creative AI Studio Layout

We've updated the layout of the creative AI studio when you "Generate your own ad"

When adding a "New Creative" to your campaign and selecting "Generate your own ad" you will now need to input a creative name and destination URL (Where you want the audiences to go if they click into your ad)

Then you can continue as normal to finish creating an AI video.

Completions and VCR

Completions and video completion rate is a new metric seen on the dashboard and campaign screen. This will give you a better insight to the audience members viewing your ad campaigns.

Completions show the amount of people who have watched your video ads to from beginning to end.

Video Completion Rate (VCR) represents the percentage of people who watch your video ads to their completion.
