How to Request Deletion of Your Account and Personal Data

If you would like to request your data to be deleted from our system, please email us at nissanchage@electroverse.com. We understand the importance of your privacy and are committed to handling your request promptly and transparently.

Steps to Request Account Deletion

  1. Send an Email Request
    Please send an email to nissanchage@electroverse.com with the subject line “Account Deletion Request.” In your message, include:

    • Your full name

    • The email address associated with your account

    • Any additional information that may help us verify your identity and locate your account

  2. Verification Process
    To protect your privacy and prevent unauthorised deletion requests, we may reach out to you to verify your identity before processing the deletion.

  3. Processing Your Request
    Upon verification, we will begin anonymising and deleting your data within 28 days of receiving your request.

  4. Confirmation
    Once your data has been deleted or anonymised, we will send you a confirmation email and then remove your data from our email service.


What Data is Deleted?

  • Personal Identifiable Information (PII): This includes your name, email address, payment information*, and any other data that directly identifies you.

  • Account Information: Your login credentials, profile settings, preferences, and history associated with your account will be deleted.

*If you have charged your car with us, then we will need to retain this data for a limited period


What Data is Retained and Why?

While we strive to delete all your personal data upon request, some information may be retained for a limited period to comply with:

  • Legal and Regulatory Obligations: Certain records may be required to be retained to satisfy laws, such as tax or financial reporting requirements.

  • Accounting and Administrative Purposes: To maintain accurate financial records or resolve disputes.

  • Security and Fraud Prevention: Limited data may be kept to detect and prevent fraud or abuse.


Data Retention Period

We will retain your personal data only as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law. Once these obligations expire, we will securely delete or anonymise the data.
