ℹ️ Before you begin: You'll need admin access to your Nobex Partners account at https://interactive.nobexpartners.com/
After logging in, you'll see your dashboard:
1. Brand Settings
Brand Settings control your app's visual identity—logo, colors, and splash screen. These elements appear throughout your app and in app stores.
Navigate to Brand Settings from the left sidebar under "Brand & App Setup":
Logo & Theme Tab
Upload your app logo (minimum 1024x1024 pixels) and set your brand colors. Your logo becomes your app icon and appears in navigation headers.
Key fields:
App Logo/Icon: Square image, high resolution (300x300 pixels or larger)
Primary Color: Main brand color used for buttons and accents
Secondary Color: Supporting color for UI elements
Background Color: Default background throughout the app
Application Splash Screen Tab
The splash screen appears when users first launch your app. Upload a custom image or use your logo with a background color.
⚠️ Any changes to Brand Settings require resubmitting your app to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, which can take up to 10 days for approval.
2. Contact Settings
Contact Settings determine how listeners reach you. This information appears in your app's "Contact Us" section.
Navigate to Contact Settings from the left sidebar:
Fill in your contact details:
Available fields:
Phone: Optional phone number
SMS: phone number for listeners to send text messages
Email: Primary contact email (required), option to include Email Subject
💡 Use public-facing contact information. Listeners will see these details in your app.
3. Integration Settings
Integration Settings connect your app to external services like social media feeds, analytics platforms, and content syndication.
Navigate to Integrations Settings from the left sidebar:
The Integrations page has three main tabs:
The three integration categories:
Social Media: Connect Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to display your social feeds inside the app. Enter API keys or access tokens to auto-sync posts.
On Demand Feed: Add your main RSS/podcast feed (HTTPS only) to syndicate content. Feed appears in your app's on-demand library.
Specialty Feeds: If you have additional RSS feeds, or create Shows within your On Demand Library provide them here.
⚠️ Meta integrations require login credentials from the third-party service. Each service provides prompts to follow.
4. App Home Screen
The App Home Screen builder lets you design your app's main interface using drag-and-drop widgets. Control what listeners see first when they open your app.
Navigate to App Home Screen from the left sidebar:
Widget Builder Interface
The home screen builder displays available widgets on the left and your current layout on the right:
How the builder works:
Create Sections: Sections create unique segments of the home screen to group widgets in rows. They can be set to display 1, 2, 3, or 4 widgets per row.
Add Widgets: Select widget type enter details in settings fields
Reorder: Drag sections/widgets up or down to change their position
Remove: Click the X or trash icon on a widget to delete it
Preview: See a live preview of your changes on the simulator, looks for the device icon at the top right.
Widget Settings
Click any widget to access its settings panel:
Common section/widget settings:
Title: Custom heading displayed below the widget (e.g., "Now Playing," "Latest Episodes")
Widgets per Row: Choose 1, 2, or 3 widgets per row depending on content type (1 for player, 2–3 for media items)
Scroll Behavior: Enable horizontal scrolling for multiple items or display all at once
💡 Best practice: Place content widgets first, followed by interactive widgets (forms/chat), then your Social accounts. Limit your home screen to 3–5 sections to avoid overwhelming users.
5. Weekly Schedule
The Weekly Schedule feature lets you create a programming calendar that displays show times, hosts, and descriptions in your app.
Navigate to Weekly Schedule from the left sidebar:
Schedule Overview
The schedule displays your programs in a weekly grid by day and time:
Schedule features:
Timezone Selection: Set your broadcast timezone in the top-right dropdown. This allows the app to display your show times in your listeners local time.
Pause/Archive: Temporarily take a show out of rotation without losing the settings. Turn them back on when needed.
Adding Programs
Click the Add Program button to create a new show:
Fill out the program details form:
Program fields:
Program Name: Show title (e.g., "Morning Drive," "The Jazz Hour")
Day(s): Select one or multiple days (supports recurring programs)
Start Time and End Time: Broadcast window - note these are listed in 24H format
Description: Brief summary of the show (optional)
Long Description: Get more in depth for listeners who want to know more (optional)
Program Image: Upload show artwork (optional)
Recurring: Toggle to repeat weekly
After saving, your program appears in the schedule:
Managing Programs
Hover over any program to reveal action buttons:
Available actions:
Edit (pencil icon): Modify program details, times, or image
Pause (pause icon): Temporarily hide the program without deleting it
Archive (download icon): Move the program to your archive for future use
Delete: Permanently remove the program (usually via edit menu)
Archiving a program:
ℹ️ Schedule changes sync to your app within minutes. You can also add the Weekly Schedule as a widget on your App Home Screen.
6. Streaming & Playback
Streaming & Playback settings configure your live audio stream—the core feature of your app.
Navigate to Streaming & Playback from the left sidebar:
Stream Configuration
Configure your primary stream and playback settings:
Key streaming fields:
Stream URL: Your live stream endpoint (HTTPS required for best compatibility)
Stream Format: Select MPEG, AAC, or WMA over HTTPS (other formats not supported)
Bitrate: Recommended 128 kbps for balance between quality and data usage
Backup Stream URL: Optional fallback if primary stream fails
⚠️ iOS apps require HTTPS streams. If your stream uses HTTP, work with your hosting provider to enable HTTPS.
💡 Before you can add a stream our system will analyse it to ensure that it is live and compatible.
Next Steps
Once you've completed these six setup sections, your app is ready for preview and testing. Review each section to ensure all details are accurate, then let our team know so we can proceed to build and submit your app to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
