Google Play Personal Account - Production Access

When publishing on a personal account, the account owner must request access to the Production Environment

When the Closed testing is complete, the account owner must click the “Apply for Production” button on the App Dashboard in Google Play.

What follows is a brief form to collect information about the testing process

  1. How did you recruit users for testing in the defined group?

  2. Let us know how easy you found it to recruit testers for your app by selecting one of the options listed.

  3. Provide information about the engagement you received from testers during your closed test. Examples of relevant information here includes:

    1. Whether testers used all of your app's features

    2. Whether your testers' usage was consistent with how you would expect a production user to use your app and, if not, the differences you would expect to see.
      ​ANSWER: Testers were instructed to try all the app features. This might differ from everyday users, who may only use a few features regularly.

4. Finally, summarize the feedback that you received from testers, and let us know how you collected this feedback.

  3. Let us know how many installs you expect your app to have in its first year. The range options are wide, so choose the option that you think is most likely. It's okay if this is just a rough estimate.
