If your friend has sent you a referral code, simply redeem it the same way you would redeem a promo code. As a new user, you'll receive a $5 discount on your first purchase when using a valid referral code.
Note that you have to be a new user without any previous purchase history in order to redeem a referral code (in other words, you can only enjoy a referral discount once. You cannot redeem multiple referral codes from multiple friends). Referral codes are only valid for plans priced at $5 or more.
To redeem a referral code, simply apply it at check-out, in the field "Add Promo Code". If the code is valid, it will automatically be saved to your profile and applied to your order.
You may also navigate to My Account > Promos > and enter the referral code there to save it to your profile.
Once completed, your purchase will award your friend with a $5 credit (as a random one-time use code/Reward Promo) that your friend can redeem with future purchases.
Note that it is not possible to redeem referral codes retroactively for a purchase that has already been made.
Referral codes can be redeemed on both the iOS and Android apps, as well as our webstore. Make sure you update to the latest version of the app to enable referral code functionality.
