In under 10 minutes, you can create a fully personalized deck that targets speech sounds, phonological processes, or articulation challenges, tailored to the specific needs of each child.

Step 1: Choose your Approach

You can tailor your approach to every child's learning needs by choosing from two card deck methods:

1️⃣ Sound Cues & Word Lists

Ideal for building foundational speech and literacy skills, this approach focuses on phonemes, wordlists, and structured practice. You can choose to display either phonic/sound cues or word lists, depending on your specific teaching goals. This approach helps:

🔹 Strengthen phonemic awareness and sound recognition

🔹 Reinforce sound production with visual and auditory cues
🔹 Enhance auditory discrimination to differentiate similar sounds
🔹 Develop language skills and boost comprehension and expression

💡 Example Deck: Sound Cues cards focusing on vowel and consonant articulation using child-friendly, engaging visual cues.

2️⃣ Corrective Strategies & Processing Disorders

Designed for targeted intervention in speech challenges, this approach applies four evidence-based strategies to enhance articulation and speech clarity. Each deck is tailored to match the selected strategy, ensuring focused and effective practice. The four strategies include:

🔹 Minimal pairs for voicing distinctions
🔹 Coarticulation for smoother sound transitions
🔹 Facilitative contexts for accurate articulation
🔹 Complexity approach for generalization of untreated sounds

💡 Example Deck: Minimal Pairs cards targeting vowel length contrasts (e.g., Ship/Sheep) and liquid sound contrasts (e.g., Light/Right).

Once you select your card style, you can fine-tune the deck to match the child’s learning goals and ensure a personalized, engaging, and effective experience.
