Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Does Chaos View drain my battery?
Nope! On iOS, it's built on Apple's energy-efficient Live Activity system. On Android, it runs as a lightweight persistent notification. You can adjust this for Android from NoPlex settings as well. Either way, it only updates when it needs to.
Q: I don’t see Chaos View on my Lock Screen. Why?
iOS
Make sure you've enabled it in Settings, and that Background App Refresh is on for NoPlex. You'll need iOS 17.1 or later.
Android
Make sure NoPlex has notification permissions enabled, and that you've allowed notifications to show on the Lock Screen in your device settings. Chaos View requires Android 16+ or later.
Q: Can I customize which tasks show up?
We've kept it simple on purpose—Chaos View displays your Tasks on today's Horizon and any active Reminders. To make sure you see the Tasks you want in Chaos View, add them to your Horizon.
Q: Why does Chaos View look different on Android than on iOS?
Each platform handles persistent on-screen content differently. On iOS, Chaos View uses Apple's Live Activity system. On Android, it appears as a pinned notification on your Lock Screen and at the top of your notification shade. The features are the same—the framing just matches what feels native to your device.
