What Are Streaks?
Streaks in NoPlex are a simple way to track consistency. They grow one day at a time—every day you complete at least one Task, your streak increases. If you miss a day, your streak resets.
It’s not about pressure or perfection—it’s about traction, and seeing your progress in motion.
How Streaks Work
Let’s take a closer look at how this feature fits into your flow.
One Task a Day Is All It Takes
You only need to complete one Task per day to keep your streak alive. That’s it. No need to check boxes, trigger settings, or finish everything in sight. One step forward is enough.
Automatic Tracking
NoPlex handles all the tracking for you. Streaks reset at midnight (local time), so as long as you complete a Task before then, your streak continues. There’s no manual reset. Your progress reflects what gets done—plain and simple.
Gentle Reminders to Keep You On Track
Busy days happen—and it’s easy to forget to mark something complete. That’s why NoPlex sends a light end-of-day reminder to help you keep your streak going. Just one completed task before midnight keeps the momentum alive.
Where to Find It
Your current streak appears at the top of the Horizon page, next to your progress bar and the Weekly Insights icon. It’s visible at a glance, so you can see how long you've kept your streak going.
Getting the Most Out of Streaks
Streaks are a quiet accountability tool. They’re not about gamifying your life—they’re about gently reinforcing what already matters to you.
Here’s how to get more from them:
Start Small, Stay Steady
If you’re overwhelmed, don’t aim for 10 tasks. Just do one. Let the streak reflect your ability to show up, not to do everything.
Use Streaks as a Signal
If your streak breaks, it’s not a failure—it’s a signal. Maybe something shifted in your day. Maybe you needed a break. That’s useful information. Let your streak reflect your real life—not a made-up one.
Let It Build Without Pressure
Some users build streaks without even trying—others use it as a gentle nudge to complete just one thing. You don’t need to force it. Let it support your rhythm, not control it.
Momentum in the Making
Streaks are just the beginning. Right now, they help build rhythm and reduce the pressure to “do it all.” In the future, you’ll start seeing new types of streaks—and Stickies, a way to collect points and celebrate consistency in more creative ways.
(We’re keeping that part under wraps for now, but it’s coming.)
