We’ve heard from members of our community who experience discomfort with imagery like Chaos, and we want to acknowledge that feedback with care and respect. For some individuals—particularly those with trypophobia—visual patterns such as multiple eyes can be genuinely distressing, not just a matter of preference.
At the same time, Chaos is a meaningful part of the NoPlex identity. He represents the messy, nonlinear, and often overwhelming experience that many of us are working to navigate, and he’s become a core part of how we express that journey as a product and community.
We’re committed to finding a thoughtful balance.
As NoPlex evolves, we plan to explore ways to give users more control over how and when they encounter Chaos—whether through customizable settings, reduced exposure modes, or alternative visual options—so that everyone can feel comfortable using the product.
We appreciate the feedback and will continue building NoPlex in a way that’s inclusive, intentional, and supportive of the diverse needs of our users.
