If you've stopped getting text reminders from Notch, it usually means texting was turned off for your number. You can turn it back on yourself in a few seconds.
Why this happens
Text reminders get switched off when your number replies to one of our messages with a word like STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT. Once that happens, carriers block all further texts to your number from us, even if you didn't mean to opt out. This can happen by accident, for example if you reply to a reminder with a message that starts with one of those words.
How to start getting reminders again
Text the word START to +1 (813) 856-1072.
That's it. Your number is re-subscribed right away, and you'll begin receiving game reminders again with the next scheduled send.
You can also use YES or UNSTOP if you prefer. Any of the three works.
What to expect after
Once you text START, reminders resume automatically. You don't need to change anything in your Notch account or contact support. If you want to confirm it worked, you can check that your phone number is correct and verified in your account settings.
Still not receiving reminders?
If you've texted START and still aren't getting reminders after your next scheduled game, reach out to support so we can take a look. A few things that can also affect delivery: an incorrect or unverified phone number on your account, a landline that can't receive texts, or carrier-level filtering on your device.
