Every word you write is saved automatically in real-time and stored securely on our cloud servers.
Novela utilizes Amazon Web Services (AWS), a global standard in cloud computing, to ensure your creative data is protected against loss.

Q. Is my writing used for AI training or shared externally?
Absolutely NOT.
Novela does not use your creative work for AI training, nor do we share, view, or provide your data to third parties.
Protecting your intellectual property is our top priority.
Our AI features are powered by external models (such as ChatGPT and Claude) via API.
In this process, your text is neither stored nor used for training by those external providers.

Q. Which operating systems are supported?
Novela works seamlessly on Windows, macOS, and Linux.
Q. Is there a desktop app?
Yes. You can install the desktop app to write in a dedicated PC environment. It syncs with the web version in real-time.
Q. Can I use Novela on mobile?
Yes. You can access all Novela features on mobile via web browsers or our dedicated apps.
The official mobile app was released in November 2025.
Q. Can I use Novela offline?
A full offline mode is not currently supported.
However, if your connection is momentarily unstable, your input is temporarily cached in your browser and will automatically sync once the connection is restored.
We recommend a stable connection for long sessions, as clearing browser data or extended offline periods may result in data loss.
