To comply with state regulations, it is important for us to be able to verify your location. It is necessary to enable location tracking in order for you to be able to trade on Novig.

As true with any information you share with us, location information is used solely for the purpose of confirming your location within state borders.

To ensure you are always able to trade while located in a permitted state, we have partnered with a licensed geolocation technology company. Wi-Fi and location services must be enabled while using the Novig app in order for us to verify your location.

How do I enable location tracking on my Android?

  1. Swipe down from the top of the screen

  2. Touch and hold Location

    • If you don't find Location

      1. Tap Edit or Settings

      2. Drag Location into your Quick Settings

  3. Tap Location Services > Google Location Accuracy

  4. Turn Improve Location Accuracy on or off

How do I enable location tracking on my iOS device?

  1. Open Settings

  2. Select Privacy

  3. Select Location Services

  4. Scroll down in the list of apps and select Novig

  5. Select either While Using the App or Always. We also encourage you to ensure Precise Location is Enabled

What are some solutions if I am running into issues while trying to be located?

  1. Connect to WiFi

  2. Make sure your Location Services is properly calibrated

  3. Confirm your device is up to date

  4. Turn off any VPN or proxy provider

  5. Log-off and quit the app before trying again

  6. Reset your device

  7. Reinstall the app
