How Can I Adjust the Layout and Reorder Entries in My CV?
When customizing your CV on novoresume.com, you might want to adjust the layout or reorder roles within the Work Experience section to create an organized and visually appealing resume. Below is a guide to addressing these adjustments.
Overview of Layout Adjustments
The Custom Layout (Premium) allows you to move sections around on your document. By using the drag and drop, you can rearrange the order of your sections and their position in the document.
In the example below, you can see that my Work Experience section is third on the left column. However, I want this section to be at the top of the left column as it is my most important section.
Once in the menu, I can select the Work Experience section and I will drag and drop in the first position.
Now you can see that the section is properly placed:
Moving Individual entries in sections
If you'd like to rearrange specific roles or items within a section, the platform provides a straightforward way to do this:
Select the desired entry by clicking on its title.
Use the up or down arrows in the floating menu that appears to reorder the content as needed.
This allows you to organize the entries in the order of priority or relevance for your intended audience, ensuring that the most important experiences are prominently displayed.
