Name Settings + Prefix/Suffix

Please select your name to update it if necessary.

As a Premium feature you can use 2 extra fields:

Prefixes, Suffixes & Pronouns

Prefixes (before name): Use for academic or professional titles

  • Dr. Sarah Johnson

  • Prof. Michael Chen

  • Rev. David Thompson

Suffixes (after name): Use for degrees and certifications

  • John Smith, PhD

  • Maria Garcia, MD, MBA

  • Jennifer Brown, CPA, PMP

Pronouns: Optional; typically in parentheses after your name

  • Alex Chen (they/them)

  • Sarah Johnson (she/her), PhD

  • Robert Lee, MBA (he/him)

Best Practices:

  • Choose prefix OR degree suffix (not both): Use "Dr. Smith" OR "Smith, PhD"

  • List multiple suffixes by relevance to the job

  • Only include credentials relevant to the position

  • Pronouns are optional but increasingly common in progressive industries

  • Place pronouns immediately after your name in parentheses

To use the feature, activate it by toggling the switch, add your content, and then press "Save".

What to Include

Essential Contact Information (Main): Always include these core details

  • Email: Professional email address (yourname@email.com)

  • Phone: Primary contact number

  • City: Your location (City, State/Country)

Optional Contact Fields: Include based on relevance and preference

  • Secondary Phone (Premium): Additional contact number

  • Full Address: Street address (often unnecessary for modern CVs)

  • Date of Birth: Include only if required by employer or regional norms

  • Country: Useful for international applications

Best Practices:

  • Prioritize essential information: email, phone, and city/location

  • Include only what's necessary—full street addresses are rarely needed

  • Add date of birth only if specifically requested or customary in your region

  • Keep contact details current and professional

Privacy Tip: The warning "Birthday changes affect all documents and the account" reminds you that some fields sync across all your documents—update carefully!
