We are happy to announce the release of NowForce Dispatcher Version 5.14, which includes new capabilities.

Note: The features listed below are already available in the iOS 4.4.14 version (click here to read about all new app features), and in the android version (click here to read about all new app features).

** Channels (PTT) feature - New capabilities:

The new PTT capabilities allow Dispatchers and mobile users (Responders and Supervisors) to create their own private Channels and chat with other users with audio PTT and text.
A new Chat tab has been added to the Channels panel - both in the Dispatcher and in the NowForce mobile app - adjacent to the Groups tab, which allows the user to create new chats and manage them.

** Incident log in Responder:

The incident log in the responder app can now be displayed only to users with a designated permission. To add this permission to a responder profile, click on the 'Menu' icon in the upper left corner->'Settings'->'Permissions':

Click on the Menu icon in the upper left corner->'Settings'->'Organization':

Chose the 'Config' tab:

Scroll down to 'Mobile Devices' section and search for the 'Default tab on Responder when on-scene' configuration:

2. Skip the Emergency phone call in SOS activation:

This configuration will allow the administrator to decide whether the emergency phone call will be dialed in case of SOS activation or whether to go directly to the SOS screen, where the user can chat and share video streaming.

The default in this configuration is dialing automatically to the emergency number, you can change it in the organization config settings as mentioned above, scroll down to the 'SOS' section, and search for 'skip phone call in SOS activation sequence' configuration:

Click on 'Edit', check the checkbox if you wish to skip the emergency call and click on 'Save':
