We are happy to announce the release of NowForce Dispatcher Version 5.19, which includes these new modules:

Incident Management window - New UI:

As part of our ongoing effort to improve the Dispatcher UI and maximize operational effectiveness vs. screen space, we are introducing our new interface to the Incident Management window:

The new Incident Management panel is divided to two columns in order to allow for a significantly larger map and display new features in each of the panel modules: support pin map for incident location, support multiple Callers (vs. one caller previously) , display Incident timing, and visible Dynamic Statuses:

1. Location module:
*Significantly larger map area
*Dispatcher can now enter the incident location by clicking on the new 'Pin' icon. Clicking on it will open a map window, on which the dispatcher can locate the incident location and click it on the map.

2. Callers module: Dispatchers can now associate more than one Caller to each incident. Each Caller's first name is displayed as a tag, clicking on the tag will display the full details of the Caller. Dispatcher can add a new Caller by clicking on the 'New' box or delete a Caller by clicking on the 'Trash' icon:

3. Incident Timer module: Dispatchers can now decide whether to activate the incident immediately (by clicking on 'Start Now'), or whether to postpone the incident to a later time (by clicking on "Schedule" and choosing a future date):

Note: Dispatchers will still have the option to revert to the old UI (by clicking on the 'Panels' icon in the upper left corner). The UI preference will be saved when toggling between tabs, opening other incidents etc:

'Export Incident to PDF' new location:

'Export incident to PFD' is now located in the drop-down when standing on the incident icon in the first row (and not as before when standing on the incident status in the last row): 

Role and Equipment Settings Pages - New UI:

As we continue to update the Settings UI -  Roles or Equipment can now be created, edited or deleted directly from the setting page itself:

Users Panel:

User Availability - Dispatcher vs. Responder

We split the availability to differentiate between Dispatcher availability vs Mobile (Responder) availability:

The Status column will now display only the statuses of Responders in incidents (i.e. Acknowledge, En-Route, On-Scene and etc.)

New User status - Escort Me

The new 'Escort Me' icon status will be displayed in the User Status column when the User activates the 'Escort Me' feature:

The normal color of the Escort Me icon is blue. One minute before the end of the Escort Timer - the icon will turn orange as an alert before the Escort turns into an SOS alert.

Note: currently this feature is supported only for iOS users. When an Android user will activate the Escort Me feature, you will not see the Escort Me status in the 'Status' column.

New Permission for Reporters - Fixed Location and Offline statuses :

The Fixed Location and Online Status permissions are now also available for Active Reporters. These permissions allows active reporters, as responders, to also change their location to 'Fixed' or change their status to 'Offline' if they are given the permissions.  The 'Allow Offline Status' and 'Allow Fixed Location' permissions can be found in the permissions status page under the 'Other app modules' section:

Geofences (Polygons) and POIs tags autocomplete:

When creating Areas (Geofences or POIs), the Admin is required to associate at least one 'Tag' to each Area. In order to maintain a fixed Tags list and prevent creating multiple tags that are actually the same, the auto-complete field will suggest existing tags:  

If you want to create a new 'Tag', you can type the new name and click on 'Add new Tag':

Resource Monitor - New Capabilities 

Display Settings:

Dispatcher can now chose which set of Areas (geofences/polygons) will be displayed on the Resources Monitor. The default set remains the areas that are geographically closest to the center of the map view. However, Dispatcher can switch the Monitor to display any of the Area tags defined in the system. This allows the Administrator to define various sets of areas relevant to the Dispatchers (i.e. a planned event):

Dispatchers can now chose if to display, highlight or hide the Resources on the map of any one of the areas on the Resources Monitor:

Resource Panel - New Capabilities:

Units drill-down: 

Dispatchers can now see on the Resources panel the specific members associated to each Unit. The Units are clustered by Area (polygon/geofence), then by Unit Type, Unit Name and finally the Dispatcher can drill-down and see the Unit members:

Edit Area (Geofence/Polygon):

Dispatchers with the appropriate permission now have a direct link to edit the Area settings:

Clicking on Edit will navigate the dispatcher to the Geofences settings page.

Interfaces - SMS Gateway per Control Center:

Administrators can now define separate SMS Gateways (providers) for each control center, or chose to define SMS Gateway only for a specific control center:

Play Trail Animation on Map:

In order to enhance post-incident analysis we have added two interesting new features to the Trail on Map module:

  1. Dispatchers can now replay the movement of Users on the map. 
  2. In the Incident Management module - Dispatchers can click on "Show Incident Trail" and the Trail module will automatically be populated with the date & time values and list of active Responders in the specific Incident:

Note: the Incident Trail option will be available only if responders were dispatched to the incident.
