This article details how to define a geofence with a radius and then apply the defined geofence in a policy.

Defining a Geofence Radius

To define a geofence radius
1. From the Main screen, select Settings > GEOGRAPHY, and then select Geofence.

2. In the Geofence Settings table, click edit on the geofence you want to edit.

3. In the Basic Details tab, select Circle, and set the radius in either meters or kilometers.

4. Select the checkbox Tag this geofence as "policy" to be used in policies.

5. Click Save.

To apply the geofence in a policy

  1. From the Main screen, select Settings > USERS, and then select Policy.In the Policy settings, open the policy you wish to edit.

  2. Select the Geofence tab.

  3. From the Geofence dropdown, select the geofence to apply to this policy.

  4. If required, set what happens when a user in this policy enters and exits bvy selecting the required checkboxes under When Entering and When Exiting.

Note: If you want to edit the geofence, select Geofence Settings and you will be prompted to save your changes to the policy before it closes and the Geofence settings page open.

5. Click Save.
