We are happy to announce the release of NowForce Dispatcher Version 5.11, which includes the features listed below.

Settings and Panels

New look and feel for Setting and Panels. On Settings, Users are now called Permissions. Geofences and POIs were moved from Panels to Settings.

When Clicking on Geofences or POI under Settings, you will see their new Administration look and feel. They will appear under Geography and there you will be able to see your Geofences and POIs and also configure them.

Assets (Managers) Incident Update

You can now send Incident Updates simultaneously to all Incident Assets/Contacts (via in-app message, email and/or SMS).  The new Incident Update button is under Assets, People Tab. Clicking the button will open a message popup already populated with the specific incident details (incident address, type, number of Responders en-route and on-scene). You can edit the text before sending.

New Assets Panel Permissions - now you can decide if to enable Dispatchers to search and add Assets only in the Incident Panel or also to enable Viewing and Editing the main Assets Panel itself. If you don't have this Permission, the Assets Panel button won't be visible.

Assets Lookup Module (RMS)

Asset Lookup module added to Forms - (currently working in Dispatcher and Android Mobile App) allows Dispatchers and Responders to search and match real-time field data with the organizational Assets database (i.e. suspects, vehicles, patients etc.).
In order to define a text box field as an Asset Lookup field - you need to check the Asset Lookup attribute for the specific field and chose the Asset Type from the list. 

Once you define a field as an "Asset Lookup" field then while populating a form in an Incident, be it on Dispatcher or on your mobile app, a search button will be available. Clicking on the Search Assets button will search for any matching assets of the specific asset type in the database.
For example, if you see the plate number of a car that you think could be suspicious, you can search for this plate number in the Form, and if the car has been previously reported, you will get the matching results including all the details and history that are available for that car.

As the matching assets are displayed - Disapatcher or Responder can click on one of the assets in the list and retreive the asset's history. Dispatcher or Responder can also add a report that will add a new entry to the asset's log. if there is no match - Dispatcher or Responder can chose to create a new Asset. 

Asset Location

Until now, the only way to define a location for an Asset was to link it to a POI. Now you have the ability to specify an address for an Asset without the POI.

New Incident States: Future, Active and All Done 

We added two new incident states: 

Active State - this used to be the default state for all incidents. We added this state in order to differentiate it from the other new states.

Future
State - Future Incidents are Incidents that can be scheduled in advance and once the determined date/time arrives, the Incident is Activated. This state is accompanied with a new time parameter - Incident Activation time which by default is identical to Incident Creation time but the Dispatcher can choose to define a future Activation Time for any incident.

All Done State - we have noticed that often incidents are already completed by all Responders but are left Active by the Dispatcher in the live incident panel for documentation purposes. In order to allow you to filter these incidents, we have crated this new "All Done" state - keeping the incident open for editing but off the live incident panel. 

By Default, only Active Incidents will show on the Incidents Panel.

A new column displays the current incident state. Mouse over will open a dropdown list of states allowing Dispatchers to switch to another incident state.  

When switching an incident to Future state (or when clicking the top bar gear icon) - the incident time popup will open allowing you to define a new future activation time:

Incident Log Filter

In the Incident Log tab, "System" filter is no longer on by default, so if you want to see System logs, you have to click on it.

Alerts

We have added four new alert types:

  1. Geofence Staffing Alert - in the geofence settings, you can now define a minimal staffing level for any Group or Role. This means that if the number users from a specific Group or Role goes below a predefined number then Dispatchers will be alerted. 
  2. Geofence Absence Alert - in the geofence settings, you can now define a maximum time period for absence of any Group or Role in a polygon. This means that if a specific Group or Role is absent from the geofence for a predefined time, then Dispatchers will be alerted. 
  3. Incident SLA Arrival Time Alert - If SLA Arrival Time elapsed without any Responder reporting On-Scene - then Dispatcher will be alerted.
  4. Incident SLA Done Time Alert - If SLA Done Time elapsed without any Responder reporting Done - then Dispatcher will be alerted.

AOI - Areas of Interest - Geofences and POIs

In order to Edit/Add AOIs, you now need a new Permission. To see how to get to the Permissions Configuration, please see Section "Settings and Panels" at the beginning of this document.

Jurisdiction Tab: It is no longer Read Only. You can now share/unshare POIs and Geofences with other Control Centers. Note that the parent Control Center and the Main Control Center will always be grayed out as these cannot be removed/unshared.


Log and Alert Tabs: The Log Tab will show you all the activities related to that specific AOI. The Alerts Tab is where you can configure the Geofence Staffing and Geofence Abscence parameters for the Alerts (seen on previous section).

Mobile Location Sampling

Location Settings Accuracy is now available for iOS (supported in the next iOS mobile release) and is based on two parameters:

  1. Location sampling rate - defined by minutes.
  2. Location Accuracy - defined by distance

Note: the lower the distance and/or rate, the more accurate and battery consuming is the location of the end users.


Messages

Templates: Templates are now available for all types of Messages.

Exporting Messages: On the Message Panel, inside the Message there is now an option to Export to Excel - clicking the button will download an Excel spreadsheet with all the message information.
Note: the data on the spreadsheet reflects the message status at the time it was downloaded.

User Management

Log Tab: On User Management, there is a new Log Tab which contains all the User's History and Activities such as creation date, online/offline, reports etc.
Note: this User log does not contain incident or location related data as these are already available in the incident and map panels.

Fixes and performance enhancements

In this version we have fixed multiple bugs and have redesigned elements which impacted the performance of the dispatch engine.
