Integrating Google Calendar with the Nowsta Workers App

Overview

The Google Calendar integration allows you to automatically sync your confirmed shifts from Nowsta to your Google Calendar. This helps you stay organized and receive updates about any schedule changes directly in your calendar.

Considerations when using the Google Calendar integration:

  • Shift information automatically updates: Your shifts will sync with Google Calendar, including time changes, coordinator notes, venue info, uniform changes, and cancellations.

  • Job requests & availability entries won't sync: Job requests and availability entries will NOT appear in your Google Calendar.

  • Shifts are automatically accepted in Google Calendar: There’s no need to manually accept events in Google Calendar as well as in Nowsta.

Changing your response in Google Calendar: Marking an event as “Declined” or “Maybe” in Google Calendar will NOT remove you from the shift in Nowsta.

You must still contact your supervisor if you can’t make a shift.


Setting Up Google Calendar Integration

Follow these steps to connect your Google Calendar:

  1. Log into the Nowsta Workers App.

  2. Navigate to the "Profile" tab.

  3. Scroll down and tap on "Google Calendar Sync".
