How to Update the Nowsta Workers App

Overview

Nowsta regularly releases updates to improve the Workers App experience and address known issues. App updates are distributed through the Apple App Store for iOS devices and the Google Play Store for Android devices.

Updates may not become available to everyone at the exact same time. App stores can gradually roll out new versions, so it is normal for an update to appear on one device before another.

How to Update the Nowsta Workers App

iPhone or iPad

  1. Open the App Store.

  2. Tap your profile icon in the upper-right corner.

  3. Scroll down to view available app updates.

  4. Find Nowsta.

  5. If an update is available, tap Update.

Android

  1. Open the Google Play Store.

  2. Tap your profile icon.

  3. Select Manage apps & device.

  4. Select Updates available.

  5. Find Nowsta.

  6. If an update is available, tap Update.

How to Enable Automatic Updates

Enabling automatic updates allows your device to download and install new versions of the Nowsta Workers App when they become available.

iPhone or iPad

  1. Open Settings.

  2. Select Apps > App Store.

  3. Make sure App Updates is turned on.

Depending on your iOS version, the App Store settings may be located directly under Settings > App Store.

Android

  1. Open the Google Play Store.

  2. Tap your profile icon.

  3. Select Settings.

  4. Select Network preferences > Auto-update apps.

  5. Choose your preferred automatic update option.

The exact settings may vary depending on your Android device.

How to Check Your Installed Nowsta App Version

You can check which version of the Nowsta Workers App is currently installed on your device.

  1. Open the Nowsta Workers App.

  2. Go to your Profile

  3. Look for the app version information by scrolling down to the bottom of the screen.

  4. Compare the installed version with the latest version available in the App Store or Google Play Store.

If you are unsure whether you have the latest version, you can also search for Nowsta in your device's app store. If you see an Update button, a newer version is available.

Alternative Method

If automatic updates are enabled, you do not need to manually update the app each time a new version is released.

Your device will automatically update the Nowsta Workers App based on your device's settings and the app store's availability.

Troubleshooting

The latest version isn't available yet

If you know a new version of the Nowsta Workers App has been released but you do not see the update yet, you may simply need to wait for the rollout to reach your device.

App updates can be released gradually through the App Store or Google Play Store. This means:

  • Some users may receive the update before others.

  • The update may not appear immediately after a release is announced.

  • Your device's app store may need additional time before the update becomes available.

  • You do not need to repeatedly uninstall and reinstall the app just because the latest version is not showing yet.

We recommend checking the app store again later to see if the update has become available.

I don't see an Update button

If there is no Update button, your device may already have the latest version available to it.

You can try:

  1. Closing and reopening the App Store or Google Play Store.

  2. Searching for Nowsta directly in the app store.

  3. Checking your internet connection.

  4. Checking again later if the update was recently released.

The app is not updating automatically

Make sure automatic app updates are enabled on your device and that your device has a reliable internet connection. Your device may also delay automatic updates depending on its battery, network, storage, or other system settings.

Important Notes

  • We recommend keeping the Nowsta Workers App updated to the latest available version.

  • New app versions may be rolled out gradually, so they may not be available to all users immediately.

  • Seeing a different app version from another worker does not necessarily indicate a problem.

  • If an update was recently released and is not showing on your device, wait and check the app store again later.

  • App store settings and update options may vary depending on your device and operating system version.

  • Make sure your device has enough available storage and a stable internet connection when installing an update.

  • If you are experiencing an issue that has already been addressed in a newer app version, updating the app may resolve the issue once the update is available for your device.
