You can easily invite new users to Nugit with our user invite function. It allows you to choose what level of access they receive and even add a customised note to welcome them to the platform.

Step by step: How to add one or more new users

  1. From the Homepage, click on the top left burger menu icon, and select 'Users'

  2. Click 'Add New User'.

  3. Select a user type (Standard, Data Manager or Admin), then key in the email address and corresponding name that will be used on the platform. You can add multiple users at one go, but they will all receive the same type of access and will be assigned to the same groups. To add another user, click on  'Add Another' and enter their details as well.

  4. You can add a customised note that will be attached to the invite - This can be useful if you are inviting people who are not familiar with the platform yet.

  5. Finally, click on 'Invite' and you're done!

Added users will get an invitation in their inbox. Once they accept the invitation, they will receive access to your team. If users have been granted Standard access, they will only see the groups you have selected on their homepage.

Users with Admin access will have access to all groups within the team.

Step by step: How to edit user access or delete a user

  1. From the Homepage, click on the top left burger menu icon, and select 'Users'.

  2. Find the user whose access to Nugit you would like to edit or remove.

  3. To remove their access to some groups, or to give them access to more groups, click 'Edit'. Select the groups you want the user to access, then click 'Update' to save.

  4. To delete the user's Nugit login, click the trash icon and then click 'Remove'.

Step by step: How to grant read-only access for specific stories

  1. Firstly, you are able to grant read-only access to users for stories which you have created yourself.  This allows only the story creator to edit the story, however everyone else can only view it on Live view or duplicate it.

  2. Go to 'Story Edit' mode.

  3. Click on 'Settings' in the toolbar at the top of the page.

4. Toggle the 'Read-Only' function on.

5. Click 'Save'.

Sometimes, the invitation email gets lost in the Junk / Spam folder of the recipient's mailbox or blocked by security settings. Make sure potential users check for these issues if they don't get the email straight away.

As an Admin user, you can edit other users' access. You can also remove users and view the pending invitations (people you've invited but whom have not created their accounts yet) in the Users tab.
