Templates are very useful if you're looking to standardise your data stories across groups. Once they are created, you can access them in one click directly from the "Create story" button.

  • Templates can only be set up & edited by a Nugit team member - please reach out to your Customer Success Manager to get assistance.

  • Templates are accessible across all groups within your team and are platform-specific: they will only appear when the data sources selected when creating a new report are similar to the ones used in the template.

  • Templates are created using a report from any of your group as a model - you and your team can build some or ask the Nugit team for assistance. Once your Customer Success Manager has transformed a data story into a template, it will disappear from your homepage - We'll make sure to use duplicates if you'd like to keep your original data story live.

Step-by-Step: How to apply a template to a new data story

  1. From the homepage, click on "+" "Create story

  2. Select the relevant group

  3. Plug in the relevant data sources or segment - remember: to be able to use a template, you need to use the same platforms as in the template!

  4. Instant stories appear. They contain pre-loaded templates that are shared across all teams and the templates created with your Nugit Customer Success Manager.

  5. Click on the template name to apply it to your new story.
