At the highest level, APRA acceptance depends on:
Type 1 / Level 1 validations:
uniqueness checks—ensuring that the records are unique as per the table definitions (eg. that there are not multiple products reported where there should be only one)
data quality validations—ensuring that the data input are valid values as per data definitions (eg. that values are valid, that values that are expected to be numeric are indeed numeric, within range)
Type 2 / Level 2 validations - Checks that the provided information is consistent within itself and also with other tables submitted.
