Setup instructions

First de-activate your Fido voicemail system. Don't worry Numa will be your new voicemail system. Numa gives you unlimited voicemail messages and voice-to-text transcription at no additional cost.

  1. Dial 611 from your Fido phone and press 2 to speak to a Fido representative

  2. Ask to have the current existing Fido voicemail removed

  3. Make sure that you are setup with Call Forwarding on your Fido plan.

Setup conditional call for forwarding

  1. From your mobile phone, dial *61* followed by the ten digit call forwarding number assigned to you by Numa followed by #. Then press send or dial. Example: (*61*5552223333#)

  2. Wait for a series of ‘beeps’ or other confirmation that your calls will be forwarded when you are unable to answer them

  3. Now, from your mobile phone, dial *67* followed by the ten digit call forwarding number assigned to you by Numa followed by #. Then press send or dial. Example: (*67*5552223333#)

  4. Wait for a series of ‘beeps’ or other confirmation that your calls will be forwarded when your line is busy

  5. Now, from your mobile phone, dial *62* followed by the ten digit call forwarding number assigned to you by Numa followed by #. Then press send or dial. Example: (*62*5552223333#)

  6. Wait for a series of ‘beeps’ or other confirmation that your calls will be forwarded when your line is busy

How to Confirm It's Working

You can place a test call by going to Settings > Phone numbers > Test my setup or call your business's phone number from your personal phone. If nobody answers, you should hear your Numa Voicemail greeting.

Troubleshooting

Make sure you don't have an answering machine picking up your calls before they get forwarded. You'll need to de-activate your fido voicemail.

Contact your phone provider and have them double check that forwarding was set up properly and is active on your line.

Turn off Call Forwarding

  1. Call Forwarding No Answer: Press ##61#

  2. Call Forwarding Busy: Press ##67#

  3. Call Forwarding Busy: Press ##62#
