How To Set Up Your Android TV Box

In order to publish your app on Android TV you will need to follow some steps and have the following images of your brand.

Below is the detail of each of the steps to follow and the required images with their respective locations within the app.

To publish the application in the store, you need to send us:

- Channel Stores: Where you want the channel to be published (countries);

- Channel description;

- All assets required bellow;

Assets required in png format.


Dimensions

Splash

· Static Splash (bg_splash.png) 1920 x 1080 px

. Animation Splash (splash_animation.json) 1920 x 1080 px

This image will act as a splash screen and will only show for a few seconds before your App is loading. For this reason, it is recommended that you do not add text to this graphic and that the user will not have time to read. We recommend a simple graphic that includes a brand image or background color along with the logo.

Launcher Icon

· (Ic_launcher_store.png) 512 x 512 px

· (Ic_launcher.png) 192 x 192 px

To publish in the Store, you will need a high-resolution icon. This icon does not replenish your Launcher Banner, it is similar to your brand logo, but with different dimensions.

Launcher Banner

· (Banner1820x720.png) 1820 x 720 px

· (Banner320x180.png) 320x180px

The Launcher Banner will appear in a row with other App Icons on the Android TV user interface.

Logos

All logos, without exception, must have a transparent background to avoid contrast problems in the application.

· (Logo_login.png) 800 x 800 px if square/800 x 400 px if is rectangular

· (Logo_home.png) 800 x 800 px if square/800 x 400 px if is rectangular

· (Logo_splash.png) 800 x 800 px if square/800 x 400 px if is rectangular

Featured Graphic (Google Play Store)

· (Featuregraphic.png) 1024 x 500 px JPEG or 24-bit

The image that you define as Feature Graphic will allow you to show the features of your App with a promotional image.

The Feature Graphic image will show up in the line from where the promotional video is also shown, in case someone has gone up.

So, summing up we basically need:

1 - Channel Stores: Where you want the channel to be published (countries);

2 - Channel description;

3 - All the assets mentioned (png format).
