How To Set Up Your Apple TV Box

In order to publish your app on Apple TV, you will need to follow some steps and have the following images of your brand.

Below is the detail of each of the steps to follow and the required images with their respective locations within the app.

To publish the application in the store, you need to send us:

- Channel Stores: Where you want the channel to be published (countries);

- Channel description;

- All assets required bellow;

Assets required in png format.

Observations:

  • The values expressed in “[]” are equivalent to the necessary scales.

  • Consider that for 2x you have to multiply each value by 2 (example 1920 x 1080 2x equals 3840 x 2160).

  • Each app icon is made up of 2 images of the front that is usually centered with transparency and the back that is only the background of the icon

  • Top shelf is the image you will present in the background to focus on the app without opening it.

  • Don't forget all the necessary scales.

Dimensions

App Icon:

. App Icon App Store - front appleicstorefront.png (1280 x 768) [1x]

. App Icon App Store - back appleicstoreback.png (1280 x 768) [1x]

. App Icon - front appleicfront.png (400 x 240) [1x, 2x]

. App Icon - back appleicback.png (400 x 240) [1x, 2x]

This image will appear in the application section to show your App. For that reason, it is necessary to have the image in both small and large sizes.

Top Shelf

. Wide topshelfwide.png (1920 x 720) [1x 2x]

. Extra Wide topshelfextrawide.png (2320 x 720) [1x 2x]

This image will appear in the upper area, from where you can highlight your product.

Background images

. Background login bglogin.png (1920 x 1080) [1x, 2x]

. Background sign in bgsignin.png (1920 x 1080) [1x, 2x]

Logos

. Full HD menu logo (300 x 150) [1x, 2x]

. Splash

. Splash (1920 x 1080) [1x, 2x]

Placeholders

. Background (1920 x 1080) [1x, 2x]

. Backdrop (782x440) [1x, 2x]

. Extrawide (1740 x 560) [1x, 2x]

. Poster (333 x 570) [1x, 2x]

. Square (500x500) [1x, 2x]

Depending on the size of the image, the sea background, backdrop, extra-wide, poster, or square, the placeholder will unfold in each one of the items.

So, summing up we basically need:

1 - Channel Stores: Where you want the channel to be published (countries);

2 - Channel description;

3 - All the assets mentioned (png format).
