If you have been given access to the Family Portal, this article will show you how to log in and use its features. You are able to use Family Portal access via the website only. There is no app for Family portal.
Logging in
Enter the login details provided by the home care provider or the ones you created using the invitation link If you face login issues, ensure your credentials meet the password complexity standards (mix of letters, numbers, and special characters). You can also check your spam or junk email folder for any reset emails. Alternatively, contact your care company for assistance or to request a username and PIN for login.

Check email settings to ensure communications from Nursebuddy are not marked as spam.
Regularly update your details with the care company to maintain smooth account access.
Verifying Credentials with Your Care Company
For security reasons, Nursebuddy cannot directly manage family accounts. Reach out to your care company to verify your email and request new access credentials if necessary.
Resolving Login Issues
If you encounter issues accessing your Nursebuddy Family Portal account, consider the following solutions:
Verify Password Complexity Requirements: Ensure your password includes a mix of letters, numbers, and possibly special characters. Use a password manager for ease.
Check Your Email and Spam Folder: Verify that reset emails are not in your spam or junk folder and that your registered email is correct.
Alternative Login Options: If email resets fail, request a username and PIN code from your care company for uninterrupted access.
Here you can view the client’s contact details, a summary of their care plan, services, other contacts and any medications listed on the left.
The Diary tab shows you diary notes left about visits along with any notes left by carers. You can click the visit to expand it and see more information.
You can also input notes for your care provider if they have enabled this feature.
The Calendar tab shows you the client’s visits, and you can click back and forth between the weeks using the arrow buttons at the top of the page. You can also change between a 2 or 4 weekly view. If you hold your cursor over a visit, you can view more details about it.
Multiple Contacts
If you have access to more than one client's profile (for example as a social worker, GP or healthcare contact) then you can select the profile from a drop-down menu that appears at the top left of the screen.
Logging out
You can log out using the Logout button at the top right of the page.
