2.1 Creating Assessments and Using the Curriculum Boundary Tool

Select ‘New Assessment’

Choose to create your assessment from scratch or to use the Nurture Assistant. Please make sure you have added the relevant materials to your Classroom Details (e.g. curriculum, past papers etc.) to make the Curriculum Builder more accurate. This can be done by selecting the settings icon on the Nurture homepage and then ‘Classroom Settings’.

Return to the top of the page and click ‘Generate Assessment’. Ensure ‘enable curriculum boundary’ is selected.

Provide instructions to the Nurture Assistant for assessment creation and click ‘generate assessment’.

Review and adjust the assessment as needed. Learning outcomes are generated from your curriculum. You can also add learning outcomes if you so wish.

Choose ‘use suggestion’ and then ‘proceed’ to use the Nurture Assistant assessment.

Attach additional supporting materials like marking schemes, PowerPoints and One Notes if applicable.

Follow onscreen instructions and click ‘assign’ to finalise your assessment.

  1. Select ‘New Assessment’

2. Choose to create your own assessment or use the Nurture Assistant. If using the Nurture Assistant, please first scroll down and add relevant materials under ‘add attachments. This will enable the Assistant to create assessments based on marking schemes, past exam questions etc.

3. Return to the top of the page and click 'Generate Assessment'. Ensure 'enable curriculum boundary' is selected.

4. Provide instructions to the Nurture Assistant for assessment creation and click 'generate assessment’.

5. Review and adjust the assessment as needed. Learning outcomes are generated from your curriculum. You can also add learning outcomes if you so wish.

6. Choose 'use suggestion' and then 'proceed' to use the Nurture Assistant assessment.

7. Link additional supportive materials and set marking preferences and submission options.

8. Follow onscreen instructions and click 'assign' to finalise your assessment.
