Nutrium has integrated the possibility for professionals to create food groups and lists of equivalents on the left-hand side menu section "Equivalents".

Create food groups or equivalent lists

In the field List of equivalents you can add different foods with similar nutritional characteristics, such as same content in carbohydrates, protein or fats, in which consumption can be switched or replaced, for example, different types of cereals (breakfast cereals, porridge oats, and crackers).

In the field Food Groups, you can add foods with shared nutritional and biological properties among them, like different types of bread (multigrain bread, whole wheat bread, oatmeal bread).

  • Click on the left-side menu Equivalents;

  • Click on Create new list of equivalents;

  • Change the group or list's name;

  • Add foods:

In the creation of lists of equivalents, the automatic food equivalents feature is not enabled.

Add food groups or lists of equivalents to the meal plan

  • Access your client's profile;

  • Tab 5 Meal Plan;

  • Click Add New Food;

  • Select the database My list of equivalents or My food groups;

  • Click on the green '+' sign to add the list or group to the meal plan:

The meal plan will display the food groups or lists of equivalents alongside grams in the printed version or mobile app:

You can also add equivalent foods to your client's meal plan directly. Check here how to do it.

This will allow your client to choose different options when putting a meal together, making the meal plan much more diverse.

Check here how you can download or print your food groups or lists of equivalents.
