Some of the features described below may not be available to all users. If you have questions about this we recommend that you contact your nutrition professional.

App's main features

Homepage

Here you will be able to:

  • Update your last 5 meals of the food diary;

  • Track your water intake goals, record what you have consumed, and receive reminders during the day so you don't forget to drink water;

  • Record physical activity by synchronizing Nutrium with other apps or by recording it manually;

  • View information on your next scheduled appointment (if available in your version).

The homepage can be accessed when you are on any page by clicking on the first icon in the bottom menu.

In this same menu, from left to right, you will also have access to the following features: Meal Plan (fork and knife icon), Quick Record of water, weight, physical activity or new message to the professional ("+" symbol in the center of the menu), Recommendations and goals (list icon), and More features (icon with three dots, "...").

Quick access to the Food Diary

You can quickly mark whether or not you have completed the last meals of your meal plan on the homepage by choosing between the options "Skipped" (yellow), "As planned" (green) or "Log" (blue). By clicking on the last option, you will be able to access the food diary to record the food you have eaten, as well as add photos and comments.

Even if you mark the meal as accomplished, you can still access the diary to add a photo or comments.

Water Intake Log

To add a water record simply click on how much you have drunk (200 mL glass or 500 mL bottle), or if you prefer you can add a custom amount by clicking on "Custom".

By clicking on "Custom" you can also detail the date and time of drinking, and click "Save" in the upper right corner of the screen.

You can disable or enable notifications by clicking on the bell symbol. To learn more about the notifications settings click here.

Note: By clicking the "+" button in the bottom menu you will also be able to add water records even if you are on another page.

Physical Activity Log

On the homepage you can view your weekly progress (calories burned, steps taken, and days of the week with physical activity), and synchronize your physical activity with other apps like Google Fit and Apple Health by clicking on the watch icon.

If you use other apps for recording physical activity, you must first sync them with these apps. Learn how to do this in Google Fit and Apple Health and check this article to know how to sync these apps with the Nutrium mobile app.

Click on "See all physical activity stats" to access your recorded activity history.

On this page (at the top) you can browse and check the logs from previous weeks. By clicking on the "+" button in the upper corner you can record a new workout.

To record a physical activity you will have to search for it in the search bar, and then fill in the other fields: date, duration, energy, and distance. The date and duration fields are required. Finally, click on "Save" in the upper right corner of the screen.

Note: By clicking the "+" button, in the bottom menu, you will also be able to add a new physical activity record even if it is on another page.

Next Appointment

If you have a scheduled appointment, you can view the date and time, and reschedule or cancel if you are unable to attend. So that you don't forget any appointment, Nutrium will send you notifications before the appointment day.

Note: This feature may not be available. Talk to your nutrition professional to find out more.

Food diary

The food diary is where you can keep your nutrition professional informed about your usual diet by recording meals or just confirming whether or not you have fulfilled a meal.

On the main page you will have quick access to the meal plan and be able to choose between the options "Skipped" (yellow), "As planned" (green) or "Log" (blue). If you choose the last option, you will have to update the information about your meal.

On the food diary page you will be able to view and select all your meals. If you have recorded any of them you will be able to view the choice (green, blue or yellow).

You can navigate to view and edit previous days, and in the top right corner of the screen, by clicking on the "+" icon, you can add a new meal not originally present in your meal plan.

After selecting the meal you want to record, you will be able to see the hour and the foods that are part of it. By clicking on the three little dots, you can provide additional information about the changes, such as:

  • Report if you have not eaten the food;

  • Reset the original meal (return to the original prescribed meal);

  • Add another food;

  • Change the hour of the meal.

Clicking add food will take you to the page to search for the food you have eaten. You will also have to indicate the amount consumed and click "Save" in the upper right corner of the screen.

By clicking on the arrows in front of the food you can indicate what change you have made by choosing the food, the measure, and the quantity. You can also upload a photo of your meal or/add a new comment. Finally, click on "Save" in the upper right corner of the screen.

Between appointments, your practitioner may request an update on your weight progress. If so, you can record your weight in this section by clicking on the "+" icon in the upper right corner of the screen, after entering the weight and date click "Save".
