1. System Requirements
Windows 7, 8, 10, or 11 (32/64-bit)
CPU: 500 MHz or higher
RAM: 1 GB+
500 MB free disk space
2. Prep Your Device
Before installing the Realtek Bluetooth driver:
Uninstall any third-party Bluetooth software
Disable built-in adapters:
Open Device Manager
Right-click and disable both:
Generic Bluetooth Adapter
Intel(R) Wireless Bluetooth Adapter
Restart your computer
2. Install the Dongle
Plug in the USB dongle to an available USB port
Windows will install basic drivers automatically
3. Confirm Installation
Open Device Manager
Look under Bluetooth for “Realtek Bluetooth Adapter”
4. Pair Your Device
Once installed, a Bluetooth icon will appear in your system tray
Right-click the icon and choose Add a Bluetooth Device
Follow prompts to complete pairing
6. Can’t Find Your Device?
Go to Settings > Bluetooth & other devices
Click Add Bluetooth or Other Device
If it still doesn’t appear, use the “Add a Device” button at the top of the Bluetooth settings window
