Your Oakboard Slide Duo arrives in a rugged, foam-lined cardboard box designed to survive gigging and even serve as a temporary case. Inside, you'll find two 2-meter USB-C cables, two vinyl Oaktone stickers (one round, one rectangular), and two informational cards.
Each unit is shipped with current firmware, so you can start using it immediately. It functions as a class-compliant MIDI device—just plug it in and go. If you ever want to change the notes transmitted by your Slide Duo, or simply verify or update firmware, head to oaktone.com/programmer.
There’s no printed manual in the box, but each package has a QR code linking to the digital guide and full documentation—just flip the box over and scan.
When you open the lid, you’ll see the phrase "stage tools for storytellers"—a small reminder of the creative force behind every Oaktone design.
If you purchased your Slide Duo from a third-party retailer, make sure to register at oaktone.com/register with your order number and where you bought it. This gives you access to Taz Lite and ensures you’re in the loop for important product updates.
Slide Duo is made to get out of your way and into your set.
