In the email builder, you can build with HTML blocks or Free Form blocks using the drag and drop function.
HTML Blocks
HTML blocks export as HTML code.
These blocks are fully responsive, editable and email safe. These emails can be analyzed by inboxes (eg., AI previews) even when images are blocked. You can hyperlink specific elements within an HTML block.
HTML blocks have some limits (eg., you cannot put text over an image).
Free Form Blocks
Free Form blocks export as an image (png).
Free Form blocks have advanced editing options (eg., put text over an image) to enable you to fully customize your email design.
You can hyperlink to an entire Free Form block, but not to specific elements in the block.
