How to access and manage the notifications from Objection

Updated over 2 months ago

Where to Find Them

Your notifications are accessible from the notification icon in the platform header. This shows your unread notification count and opens your notification feed.

What Triggers Notifications

Notifications are generated for events relevant to your role:

  • Objectors receive alerts when their case status changes, when an investigator is assigned, when a judgment is scheduled, and when a verdict is rendered.

  • Investigators receive alerts for new case assignments, application status changes, judgment scheduling, and verdict outcomes.

  • Authors receive alerts when an objection is filed against their article, when they are invited to respond, and when a verdict is issued.

Reading and Managing Notifications

Each notification shows what happened, when it happened, and links to the relevant page (case detail, profile, admin panel). You can mark notifications as read individually. Notifications are stored in your account and persist until your account is deleted.

Relationship to Email

If you have email notifications enabled, you receive both an in-app notification and an email for the same event. Turning off email notifications does not affect your in-app notifications, and vice versa. The two channels operate independently based on your preference toggles.
