Responding to an Objection

How do I respond to an Objection?

Updated over a week ago

You have an absolute right to respond and defend your statement. The process has two stages:

The Allegation Stage

Upon notification, you are granted an initial window to:

  • Acknowledge receipt of the Objection

  • Offer your proposed interpretation of the words objected to

  • Agree to the Objector's proposed interpretation (if you accept their interpretation)

  • Offer correction or rectification

The Evidence Stage

To maintain the integrity of the Judicial Protocol, you must provide verifiable evidence to support your statement. This may include:

  • Primary source documents, transcripts, or datasets

  • Attributed quotes and contact verification for sources

  • Archived links or Wayback Machine snapshots of digital content

You may also:

  • Dispute evidence submitted by the Objector with evidence of your own

  • Flag any evidence you believe to be fabricated

  • Add a bounty to increase the quality and breadth of the investigation

Evidence must be submitted within the case time limit.
