How to use the available automation rules ?

Here are all the available rules for triggering an automation. To find them in the back office, go to Automations in the left menu, then click Add. In the window that opens, the Rule field lists all available triggers. Rules appear in orange once configured.


1. Unlocked via import

Rule : unlocked a loyalty card via an import
Example : Send a welcome email to introduce the loyalty program

2. Unlocked by the customer themselves

Rule : unlocked a loyalty card by themselves
Example : Send an automatic email to explain the program and its benefits

3. New loyalty card unlocked

Rule : unlocked a loyalty card (at a kiosk or at the register)
Example : Send an email to allow the customer to set their password and discover the program

4. New marketing contact

Rule : new marketing contact
Example : Send a welcome email to any new contact added to your marketing database

5. Prepaid card unlocked

Rule : unlocked a prepaid card
Example : Send a confirmation email with the card usage terms

6. Birthday

Rule : has their birthday in {X} day(s)
Example : Send a special offer a few days before their birthday (e.g. a free muffin)

7. New loyalty gift available

Rule : has a new loyalty gift available
Example : Send an email to encourage the customer to use their gift

8. Global order amount reached

Rule : has reached a total order amount of more than {X} €
Example : At €1,000 in cumulative orders, send a thank-you email or a special offer

9. Order placed

Rule : has placed an order
Example : Send a thank-you or follow-up email (be careful not to over-solicit)

10. Xth order placed

Rule : has placed their {X}th order
Example : At the 50th order, send a loyalty message with an exclusive offer

11. Order inactivity

Rule : has not ordered for more than {X} day(s)
Example : After 30 days without an order, send a re-engagement email with an incentive offer

12. Usable points balance reached

Rule : has reached a balance of {X} usable points
Example : Inform the customer that they can now redeem their points for a reward

13. Total points balance reached

Rule : has reached a total balance of {X} points
Example : At 10,000 cumulative points, send a congratulations email

14. Points earned

Rule : has earned points
Example : Notify the customer each time they earn points (be careful not to over-solicit)

15. Points inactivity

Rule : has not earned any points for {X} day(s)
Example : Re-engage inactive customers with an incentive message

16. Xth reward reached

Rule : has won their {X}th reward
Example : At the 10th reward, send a congratulations message with a special offer

17. Reward inactivity

Rule : has not won a reward for {X} day(s)
Example : Remind the customer about the loyalty program and encourage new orders

18. Reward won

Rule : has won a reward
Example : Send an email explaining how to use the reward

19. Reward redeemed

Rule : has redeemed a reward
Example : Send a thank-you message and encourage a next order

20. High satisfaction score

Rule : has answered a question with a score higher than {X}
Example : Score > 4 → send a thank-you email (the Survey feature must be activated)

21. Low satisfaction score

Rule : has answered a question with a score lower than {X}
Example : Score < 3 → send an email to understand the dissatisfaction (the Survey feature must be activated)
