It is essential to analyze statistics after sending SMS campaigns. Understanding the contact breakdown after sending a campaign

  1. Initial List

    • Number of unique contacts : This figure is displayed in the gray box and represents the total number of contacts targeted at the start of the campaign.

  2. Number sent and delivery percentage

    • Sent : The total number of SMS sent.

    • Delivery percentage : The percentage of messages actually delivered to recipients. This information is displayed in the green box.

  3. Number excluded with details and percentage

    • Non-opt-ins : These contacts have chosen not to receive communications. They are excluded from the campaign to respect their choice not to be contacted.

    • Archived : These are contacts you have decided to archive in the database, so they will no longer receive communications.

    • Anonymous : Contacts without a phone number, as these are anonymized contacts.

    • Marketing pressure : To avoid over-soliciting and reduce customer dissatisfaction, contacts do not receive multiple messages on the same day. This ensures better management of sending frequency and improves the customer experience.

    • Invalid numbers : The number no longer exists or was entered incorrectly.

Each category contributes to the accuracy of your reports and allows you to optimize your future campaigns by better understanding the contact breakdown and the reasons for exclusions.

Understanding campaign statistics

  • Total number sent : Total number of SMS sent, as well as the percentages of "delivered" and "failed" messages

    • Delivered : Messages that were successfully delivered to recipients' inboxes

    • Failed : Messages that could not be delivered for various reasons (incorrect number, etc.)

  • Number of unique openers and clickers : It is not possible to track opens and clicks when sending an SMS campaign, since an SMS is plain text with no built-in mechanism to know whether the message has been opened or read.

  • Conversions after sending : Shows the number and percentage of conversions obtained after sending the SMS campaign; this figure evolves based on your customers' behavior.

  • Conversions among unique openers and clickers : It is not possible to track conversions among openers and clickers, as it is impossible to track opens and clicks when sending an SMS campaign, since an SMS is plain text with no built-in mechanism to know whether the message has been opened or read.

    • Unique openers : Number of distinct recipients who opened the message at least once
