On your P.Point, each order shows a colored dot that indicates where it is in its transmission to your till (POS).
Here's how to read them:
🟢 Green — Order received by the till
All good: the order has been successfully transmitted to and received by your till. No action needed on your side.
🟠 Orange — Received by the till's servers, but not yet by the iPad
The order has reached the till's servers, but the iPad hasn't picked it up yet. This is most often linked to:
a connection issue with the tablet (check the iPad's Wi-Fi / 4G),
or a service not yet opened on the till.
Once the connection is restored or the service is opened, the order usually turns green.
⚪ Grey — Order not yet sent to the till (pending)
The order hasn't been transmitted yet, and that's normal. This applies, for example, to Click & Collect orders set to be sent to the till only 1 hour before the pickup time. It's simply pending and will be sent automatically when the time comes.
🔴 Red — Error returned by the till
The till has returned an error. In 99% of cases, a message tells you where the problem comes from.
After 4 blocked orders, transmission automatically pauses and Obypay receives an alert. Depending on the case, Obypay resolves the problem directly or contacts your till's support service. On your side, you can also contact them to get the service back up and running.
