Adding a Mailchimp mailing list

  1. Click Add Mailchimp List

  2. Enter API Key and Audience ID

  3. Enter a name for your mailing list

To set up the Mailchimp integration, you will need your API Key. This can be found in your Mailchimp Account under Extras.

You will also need to enter the Audience ID for the mailing list. This identifies the Mailchimp Audience you want to integrate.
On Mailchimp, go to Audience > Settings > Audience name and campaign defaults.

Activating your new mailing list

Once you have created the mailing list, you will need to add the Ochre list webhook to Mailchimp. This needs to be added to Mailchimp to allow full sync. of mailing list subscribers.

The webhook is shown in a box on the mailing list tile. It can be copied from here ready to be pasted into Mailchimp.

On Mailchimp, go to Audience > Settings > Webhooks.


Click Create New Webhook and paste the webhook URL provided by Ochre in the Callback URL field.


Select the checkbox for Via the API. We recommend keeping all checkboxes selected so that all subscription events are tracked.
