From July 2021 there will be a one-stop EU VAT registration for physical goods sales, similar to the existing MOSS scheme for digital transactions. A single EU registration and single tax return will be required that covers all EU countries.

From this date there will not be import VAT levied on shipments valuing less than 150 Euros. This will make management of Pan-European VAT and importing goods into the EU much simpler.
