All results pages are built using content blocks, which are important to get the most out of any quiz.

When you first start building your quiz, the default results page will depend on the results type you selected.

The AI quiz will have an AI result page:

The Dynamic quiz will have both a Dynamic and a Fallback result page:

The Custom quiz will have the Fallback result page:

You can customize all these pages, and except for the AI quiz, you can add more results pages to your quizzes aside from the default ones by clicking on Add results page. Below, we will guide you on how to customize your results pages by adding content blocks.

When you click on a results page, it will expand its current structure in a drop-down format. In this example, this results page is built of a Title and a Content Block with Curated products:

Let us remove this Content Block #1 and add one of our own instead so we can build it from the ground up. You can do so by clicking the content block on the left and then clicking Remove block on its options on the right:

We will now create a new content block by clicking Add content block:

There are 4 types of content blocks you can add:

This product block uses the Dynamic quiz system, where you can assign a ranking score to your products to recommend the highest ranked ones at the end of the quiz or use a match/exclude system to only show certain products. Please refer to this article to learn how to use dynamic quizzes. You can add a Dynamic Filtered Products block in Dynamic or Custom quizzes.

With this product block, you can handpick the products that will be shown in the block. Please refer to this guide on how to use custom quizzes.

If you do not want to add any products to your block, you can choose this option. You can add different types of content. You can still add non-product content in addition to product content on the other block types as well.

This product block will use our AI to automatically recommend the best products for your customers based on their answers. This is only available for the AI quiz, and you can only have one of these blocks per quiz at once. Please check this article if you want an overview of all the result types in your quiz.

The Products section is where products are added in normal content blocks, as well as where the product limit order logic is set for dynamic and AI blocks.

This is also where the DISPLAY SETTINGS and BUTTON SETTINGS menus are located, which are important tools for formatting the way products appear and function in a results page.

Regardless of the content block type you choose, you can customize it further by adding content. Click on Add content and choose a content type. You can learn more about what content you can add to your quiz by checking this article.

Advanced logic can be used by Octane Plus users to create conditional logic for content blocks.

When a rule has been added to a content block, the content block will now hide unless the answers specified in the advanced logic are chosen in the quiz. The biggest advantage this offers is allowing flexibility in your quiz logic.

Products and content with simple variations can be shown with advanced logic in content blocks, which means fewer variables to consider in the rest of your quiz.
