Accessing the Template Gallery
You can find template tasks in 3 ways:
Click the Templates icon on the homepage or sidebar.
Click + New in the sidebar → Choose Template Mode.
Search directly on the Home screen.
Paid Templates
Certain templates may require add-on credits beyond your subscription due to:

Types of Template Tasks
Octoparse offers two main template types:
1. OTD (Octoparse Custom Task) Templates
Can run on your device or in the cloud.
Built using Octoparse’s no-code task builder.
2. JavaScript/Python Templates
Designed for complex sites (Amazon, Twitter, Indeed, etc.).
Cloud-only execution (cannot run locally).
Often have usage limits (e.g., daily extraction caps).
