What is cloud live log & history?

Octoparse 8.5 cloud run panel will automatically pop up when running the task on the cloud. Cloud run details can be easily checked in this window.

Note: You can choose not to pop up the Cloud run window every time the task starts in the settings.

You can access the window by clicking on this icon from the Dashboard:


1. View Cloud Runs Details (Cloud Live Log)

In the Cloud run interface, you can have a general view of the data volume, task status, duplicate number, time spent, and average running speed of the task on the top.

There are 4 tabs showing more detailed information about this Cloud run.

  • Task Overview

Task Overview includes Run Initiated, Start Time, End Time, Distinct Data, CAPTCHA Attempts.

  • Data List

This tab shows all the data that has been scraped

  • Subtask Status

    From the Subtask Status tab, you can see the total number of sub-tasks and detailed start time, end time, time spent, status and data extracted for each sub-task.

NOTE: You can click Restart or Details to restart a single sub-task or check the details of it.

Details of one sub-task include an error screenshot and the event logs. If you find the Cloud not working as expected, you can check the sub-task details to see what's going wrong.

  • Recent Runs

Recent Runs record the information of all the historical runs.

NOTE: You can click the Export Data button in the Action column to export the data from one run.


2. Cloud Runs History

To view "Cloud Runs History", you can click "..." on the Dashboard, choose "Cloud Runs", and then select "Cloud Run History".

Cloud Run history will show the details of each Cloud run, including Batch ID, Start Time, End Time, Data Extracted and Exported records, etc. You can check the running frequency and export all the data as well by clicking Export All.

Note: By clicking on the data in the Summary column, you can check the data for each cloud run and click the Export Data button in the Action column to export data from one single task.
