When saving your tasks in Octoparse, you may get a pop up stating that:

"Failed to save task due to website restriction. Your target website disallows any web scrapers."

This is because you are trying to scrape Facebook.com/Instagram.com. The two websites disallow any web scraping tool to get data from them and Octoparse no longer supports scraping them.

Note that the URLs cannot even include Facebook or Instagram as parameters. For example, URLs like https://www.google.com/search?q=facebook.com will also be disallowed. You can try to set up steps to input search keywords to the web page instead of using the URLs directly.
