Sign in with Microsoft (SSO)

You can sign in to Jimini with your Microsoft account. This sign-in method works for the web app, the Word add-in and the Outlook add-in.

How to sign in

  1. On the Jimini sign-in page, click Microsoft.

  2. Sign in with the Microsoft account associated with the email address Jimini knows — the one from your invitation or signup.

  3. You are automatically taken back to Jimini, signed in.

On your first sign-in, Microsoft asks you to allow Jimini to access your basic profile (name, email address), then Jimini sends you a code by email to verify your address.

Common issues

"User is not registered": your account is not attached to a Jimini workspace. Check that you're using the Microsoft account matching your invitation address.

"Need admin approval" on the Microsoft page: your organization requires an administrator to authorize Jimini. Submit the approval request shown on screen or contact your IT department.

Wrong Microsoft account: click Use another account on the Microsoft page, or sign out of the active account in your browser.

Verification code not received: check your spam folder, then start a new sign-in to receive a fresh code.

For IT administrators

If your organization restricts consent to third-party applications, your users will see "Need admin approval" on their first sign-in. Two options:

  • An Entra administrator grants consent for the whole organization: Enterprise applicationsJimini LoginPermissionsGrant admin consent. The Jimini Login application only requires the Microsoft Graph delegated permission User.Read.

  • Or the user submits an approval request directly from the message, if the admin consent workflow is enabled.
