Individual licenses - Essential, Pro, or Max: what does each plan include?

Jimini offers three individual plans. They all give access to the full set of tools: what sets them apart is the amount of work included.

Three plans, all the tools

No feature is reserved for a particular plan: document analysis, drafting, legal research, analysis grids, matters, and the Word and Outlook add-ins are included everywhere. By choosing your plan, you’re choosing a volume, measured by three independent limits:

  • the usage limit, an AI work budget reset every week;

  • the number of documents imported, counted per calendar month;

  • the number of matters open in your workspace.

The usage limit

Each plan includes an AI work budget, which every request made to Jimini draws down and which is fully replenished every Monday. The Essential plan covers occasional use, the Pro plan daily use, and the Max plan unlimited use as part of normal professional use.

👉 Detailed article: How do usage limits work?
What it measures, what consumes the most, where to track your gauge, and what to do when you reach it.

Documents imported

Every document added to your library counts toward a monthly limit, whether the import comes from the application, Word, or Outlook. The counter resets to zero on the first day of each month.

This limit applies only to importing new documents: documents already on Jimini remain accessible and searchable, even once your document quota is used up.

Matters

The matter limit works differently: it isn’t a budget that recharges, but a maximum number of matters open at the same time in your workspace. So there’s no reset, but deleting a matter immediately frees up a slot.

The Essential plan allows up to 3 matters; the Pro and Max plans impose no limit.

The free trial

The free trial lasts 14 days and gives access to all tools with Pro plan limits: enough to test Jimini under the conditions of real daily use, with no credit card required.

Tracking your limits

Click your profile picture, then the Usage tab. There you’ll find your three limits: the week’s usage gauge (as a percentage), the documents imported in the current month, and your matters.

Changing plans

You can change plans at any time, from the same window. The change takes effect immediately:

  • To a higher plan: your new limits apply right away, and only the price difference is charged, prorated for the current period.

  • To a lower plan: your limits are reduced immediately, and any overpayment is deducted from your next invoice.

  • To Essential with more than 3 matters: the application asks you to choose the 3 matters to keep. Unselected matters are permanently deleted, along with their documents and conversations.
