How to change the text of the Epigraph

Add

Add new text to the project by clicking on the button at the top left.

By double-clicking the mouse on the new text field, the following buttons will appear on the screen at the top right.

Starting from the left:

  1. Shadow.

  2. Padlock to lock a text field or an image within the poster.

  3. Level, to bring the text field back horizontally.

  4. Duplicate, to split an already written text field.

  5. Move to the foreground, to make a button appear above a background image.

  6. Move to the background.

  7. Recycle bin to remove selected images and texts from the poster.

  8. The arrow pointing to the left (Undo) to return to the previous change.

  9. The arrow pointing to the right (Redo) to move forward on a change already made before.

Body of the text

With a double click on the text field, you can modify the body and correct any errors.

Move text

Select the text field and with a single click, hold and drag with the mouse to the desired point.

The system is equipped with line spacing to help the user center the texts on the sheet.

The darker purple line indicates the alignment with the elements that are around the selected element.

The clearest purple line indicates the alignment with respect to the entire sheet.


Font size

Select text with a single click.

You can proceed in 2 ways:

  1. The toolbar at the top left shows the size of the selected font. Using the buttons - and + placed on the sides, it can be reduced or enlarged

  2. Select one of the angles and reduce or enlarge the area to reduce the size of the text.

Change the color

  1. Select the text with a single click and press the color button on the left top toolbar.

  2. The color range will open up from which you can select the desired color.

  3. Click on one of the colors to change the color of the selected text.

Change the style

Select text with a single click.

The following aspects can be modified on the top toolbar:

- Character

Click on the name of the font currently in use to open the list of those available and click on the desired one.

To search for a specific character, there is a “Search” function.

The name of the font is a preview of the font itself.

- Shadow

Click on the icon to add and adjust a shadow.

- Alignment
You can align text in 3 ways:

  • Left

  • Center

  • Right

  • Bold face

- Highlighted

Click on the icon to underline a text

Line spacing

Click on the icon to open the "Line Spacing" menu where you can adjust the line spacing in 2 ways:

  1. Vertical: when the text is on at least two lines, you can increase or decrease the space between the two lines.

  2. Horizontal: you can increase or decrease the space between one letter and another.
