Welcome to OfferSwap! Our platform connects Service Providers and Service Comparers to create a productive and professional environment. These Community Guidelines (“Guidelines”) outline the expectations, rules, and responsibilities for all members of the OfferSwap community. By using our platform, you agree to follow these Guidelines to maintain a respectful and safe environment for everyone.


1. Purpose of the Guidelines

OfferSwap’s mission is to enable efficient and ethical business interactions. These Guidelines aim to:

  • Ensure respectful communication among users.

  • Promote lawful and ethical conduct.

  • Foster trust, transparency, and accountability.

  • Protect the integrity and functionality of the platform.


2. Applicability

These Guidelines apply to all OfferSwap users, including Service Providers, Service Comparers, and visitors to the platform. Violations may result in penalties, including warnings, account suspension, or permanent bans.


3. General Conduct

We expect all users to behave in a respectful and professional manner. Prohibited behaviors include:

3.1 Harassment and Abuse

  • Any form of harassment, bullying, or threats directed toward another user.

  • Insults, hate speech, or discriminatory remarks based on race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, disability, or other personal characteristics.

3.2 Misrepresentation

  • Providing false information about your identity, qualifications, or services.

  • Impersonating another person or entity.

3.3 Spam and Unauthorized Promotions

  • Sending unsolicited or irrelevant messages to users.

  • Promoting products, services, or websites without authorization.

3.4 Unlawful Activities

  • Using the platform to facilitate or promote illegal actions.

  • Sharing content that violates intellectual property laws or applicable regulations.


4. Service Comparer Responsibilities

As a Service Comparer (user seeking services), you must:

  • Provide accurate and complete information when submitting requests or interacting with Service Providers.

  • Respond to communications from Service Providers and OfferSwap representatives.

  • Acknowledge that your shared contact information may be used to facilitate connections with Service Providers.


5. Service Provider Responsibilities

As a Service Provider, you must:

  • Provide honest and accurate information about your services.

  • Respect the privacy and preferences of Service Comparers.

  • Refrain from using aggressive or misleading sales tactics.


6. Prohibited Content

OfferSwap prohibits the posting, sharing, or promotion of the following:

  • Illegal, harmful, or deceptive content.

  • Pornographic, violent, or excessively graphic material.

  • Misleading or fraudulent claims.

  • Malware, phishing links, or other malicious software.


7. Respecting Intellectual Property

Users must respect the intellectual property rights of others. Do not share or upload copyrighted material without proper authorization. Violations may result in account suspension and legal consequences.


8. Privacy and Security

8.1 Respecting Privacy

Do not share other users’ personal or business information without their explicit consent.

8.2 Account Security

  • Use strong passwords and keep your login credentials confidential.

  • Report any unauthorized account activity immediately.


9. Dispute Resolution

If disputes arise between users, we encourage direct and respectful communication. OfferSwap may assist in resolving disputes when necessary but does not take responsibility for outcomes of agreements made between users.


10. Reporting Violations

If you encounter content or behavior that violates these Guidelines, report it using the platform’s reporting tools or email us at contact@offer-swap.com. We will investigate and take appropriate action.


11. Enforcement and Penalties

OfferSwap may enforce these Guidelines by:

  • Issuing warnings for minor violations.

  • Temporarily suspending accounts for repeated or serious violations.

  • Permanently banning users for severe or continued misconduct.


12. Updates to the Guidelines

OfferSwap reserves the right to update these Guidelines to reflect changes in legal requirements or platform policies. Updates will be posted on this page, and significant changes will be communicated to users.
